Wedding | Chris & Sarah

2/28/12

Last July I had the privilege of heading down to South Carolina to shoot the beautiful, rustic, outdoor wedding of Chris & Sarah. My good friend Anastasia happened to be coordinating this wedding, which is how Sarah found out about me (I also photographed Anastasia & Jeremy’s wedding the year before) and I knew right away that it was a wedding I couldn’t miss.

Chris & Sarah both have a contagious joy and passion for life, the Lord, and each other that is immensely evident immediately upon meeting them. It was truly wonderful to play a part in their love story by documenting their beautiful day, and I hope you enjoy all of the handmade details as much as I did! (Not to mention the GORGEOUS ceremony location – Anne Springs Close Greenway in Fort Mill)

The fun reception details, pulled together by Anastasia and other friends of the bride. (The reception was held at the Morningstar School of Ministry)

I love the flowers they used! They got them from a local farmer’s market and created bouquets inspired by some ideas they found in a Charlotte Wedding magazine. Such great colors!

Sarah was truly beaming all day!

After getting ready we headed to the beautiful ceremony location for portraits!

Sarah is SO stunning, and so natural in front of the camera!

Chris and his guys definitely had a lot of fun spunk!

Is this a PERFECT wedding spot, or what??

You can just TELL how excited these two were to begin their life together – it came through in absolutely all of their interactions, and I love that!

There was a horse and trainer out and they were kind enough to let us grab some photos! I thought these made for a really fun addition to their portraits. :)

Then it was off to the reception for some real celebration!

Chris’s dad sang a special song for their first dance – first time I’ve seen that, and it was really cool!

There was DEFINITELY a dance-off between Chris’s Grandma and one of his groomsmen….

I’m so happy and blessed to have gotten to know Chris & Sarah and I hope you enjoyed seeing their beautiful day! :)
