Dear BBC…

3/26/12

It took me far too long to finally jump on the Downton bandwagon, but now that I have and I’ve already finished Season 2, whatever am I going to do until Season 3 comes out? And why, oh why, must it take so long to get to the US? I’m not even sure I yet understand how it is you’ve created SUCH a brilliant, intriguing show….but by George you’ve done it, and now I don’t want to wait for more! But I suppose I must. I suppose we ALL must.

(Yes, I’m being a bit dramatic. And yes, I wrote this post with a British accent in mind.)

If anyone has any wonderful suggestions on how to pass the time and fill my Downton void until next year, please do share!

    Oh gosh, no joke I am having the same problem! I finished the Season 2 just last week and after all those heart wrenching episodes I just don’t know what to do with myself until the fall. It put me in a kick for watching things of a different time period, so maybe starting a show like Mad Men will be a good time killer until Season 3 starts?

    I’m right there with you!! I finished season 2 nearly two months ago and I’m STILL longing for more! There is nothing quite like Downton Abbey to take it’s place either! So the wait continues… *sigh*

    I jumped on the bandwagon right as season 2 was coming out— thankfully it was over Christmas break because I was hooked!!! Truly marvelous! Foyle’s War is another great BBC show and the new Sherlock Holmes series is brilliant as well. Obviously in different time periods but still pumpin’ out those british accents;) {p.s. I was just in London and the accents truly are just as good -if not better- as we hear them on tv!}

    @Emily – Yes! I love the new Sherlock series, too! I still have a few more episodes of that to watch. It’s SO GOOD.
