Happy Tuesday, everyone! It’s good to be back on the blog after a crazy weekend (stay tuned for sneak peeks from that later this week) & a wonderful/much-needed day off yesterday. I knew there was no better way to kick off this week than with Mike & Susie’s adorable engagement session on the grounds of Virginia’s beautiful state capitol. It was so much fun hanging out with these two, and seeing their obvious adoration for each other. I love that they knew how to do the dramatic poses well, and then would burst into laughter for truly candid/natural fun shots. It’s going to be so much fun to shoot their wedding this fall! :)

We started off with a cute little picnic set-up that they brought with them.

I found out AFTER we did these shots that neither one of them even likes cupcakes! Haha. I love their dedication for the cuteness of a shoot.

I love how sweet these next 2 are.

I mean, seriously, how cute is Susie when she laughs?!
