Nick & Ashley | Rustic Farm Wedding

6/21/12

It’s coming a little late, but today I’m finally sharing another one of my FAVORITE weddings from last fall. You may remember Nick & Ashley from their awesome vintage/bohemian engagement session, and I’m pretty sure you’re going to LOVE seeing their colorful farm wedding that was on the property of a family friend in Powhatan. They have such a flair for quirky, eclectic elements and I love how they mixed bright colors, streamers and confetti with vintage and rustic surroundings. It was also super wonderful to have Lauryn 2nd shooting with me again at this wedding!

I ridiculously love the fact that she wore boots like this. Sooo perfect.

The bouquet and boutonnieres being made from such unique brooches was such a cool execution of this current trend. Ashley and her friends are SO creative and talented with DIY projects!

Likewise, the bridesmaids bouquets were super quirky and unique. I love the birds!

One of my FAVORITE bridal images to date. I don’t know what it is about it….but I just love it.

Can we just talk about how amazing the flowers in her hair are?? Such a pretty look, and a different take on the flower halo concept that I think is just stunning!

They opted to do a First Look, which I always love, and their reactions were so cute. :)

Their dog Bella was an official part of their wedding party which was the cutest thing ever, and so it was only right to grab some shots of them all together. :)

The ceremony site was so fun and colorful!

Their kiss was definitely epic!

Most adorable ring bearer ever?? I’m thinking yes….

The reception space definitely continued the eclectic and colorful themes, and the assortment of dinnerware was fabulous!

I mean, was that not one of the coolest weddings ever?? I’m SO happy to have met Nick & Ashley and to have gained them as legitimate friends through getting to work with them. I hope you enjoyed a peek into their amazing day! :)
