So, as you may have gathered from yesterday’s wedding preview, I was in Indiana over the weekend shooting the wedding of my friend Katie. And consequently, because I was going to be in town, we planned my sister’s bridal shower for Sunday so I could be there for it. For those who don’t know, she’s getting married in August! It’s pretty exciting, if you ask me, and I’m SO happy I was able to be there to celebrate with her and to see so many dear friends. Just thought I’d share some of the photos from the fun little afternoon. :)

My Mom made a comment about my hair over-taking the photo…. :P

The shower was at the cute little coffee bar/gift shop in our town called The Willow Switch.

One of my very nearest, dearest and life-longest friends, Jocelyn.

We have such a fabulously unique, sarcastic and loving relationship with her…. :)

Jocelyn and our other dear friend Rachel (who are both bridesmaids) were responsible for the delicious food and cute little details for the shower. It’s a bummer being the maid (or matron, I guess!) of honor from afar, but I was thankful to know that everything was in the good hands of these two.

Annnd I was SUPER happy to see some of the Davey ladies! I just love all of them.

SO happy seeing my cousin Emily (who is also a bridesmaid) and her 4-month baby belly. :)

After all the fun bridal shower festivities, I did an engagement shoot with the sister and her man….

So, there will be more of THAT to come, soon. :) I’m so, so excited for all the happiness in her life and can’t wait for August 5th to roll around!
