Recently I got to do a slightly different type of shoot than is normal for me. I don’t specialize in what I would call professional headshots, but when a friend of mine (who is running for Florida State Representative) asked if I would consider doing a shoot for her campaign photos, I was definitely interested! Since she is a young candidate, she wanted a more fun, fresh approach than typical “political” shots, so I thought it sounded right up my alley! It was a fun challenge trying to walk the balance of fresh and approachable with an edge of professionalism still applied. But I think we achieved that combination in several shots, and got a lot of other fun ones in addition. :) Enjoy a few of my favorites!

It’s so cool to see a few of the photos on her website! I think they work perfectly for the look and feel that the campaign is going for.

I love getting to be part of all different sorts of projects, and this was a really fun shoot. I’m so proud to know people who are willing to step out and do something so big! Happy Thursday!
