I’m not one to make a super big deal out of Valentine’s Day. In fact, Aaron and I usually do our Valentine’s date a couple days before or after so as not to be in a crowded restaurant, or unable to get a reservation. We don’t usually get each other gifts, though he usually surprises me with flowers and a nice card. But mostly, I just like that it’s a day to remind yourself of all the people you’re blessed to know and love, romantically or otherwise. So today I’m going to enjoy quality time with my favorite man (and world’s best cats), tell my family and friends that I love them, and mostly, rejoice in the unconditional, never-changing love of my Savior. There’s nothing better than that, in my book.
