As most of you probably know, the Academy Awards are on Sunday, and this is something that Aaron and I get really excited about. We love watching as many of the Oscar-nominated films as possible, and enjoy predicting throughout the year which ones will be nominated. We even throw an annual party for serious Oscar-lovers only (even requiring ballots to be filled out for the award predictions). That’s probably all a little nerdy, but I’m ok with that. Needless to say, I decided it would be fitting to do an Oscar-inspired look for this week’s outfit. And one of my favorites is this gorgeous vintage Christian Dior dress that Reese Witherspoon wore several years back.

I got this beautiful vintage dress a few years ago for free and after getting it altered to fit me, it’s definitely my idea of a fun formal look. I love the gold and copper details and the overall elegant look.
