Baby Bump | Weeks 13 & 14

12/08/14

Happy Monday, friends! I hope you had a wonderful, productive weekend. I think Saturdays in December are my favorite because I’m so motivated to do crafty and Christmassy things and this weekend I got a bunch of pretty presents wrapped and a few DIY projects completed. So, I’m a happy girl and ready to dive into my workload today & this week. But I thought I’d kick things off with a little Baby Bump update for you! It’s been two weeks since our announcement (crazy! It feels like I just posted that) and Baby is definitely starting to peek out a little more.

I know that, mostly, I’m still the only one who notices, but I think we’re getting close to the point where it’ll be more obvious! I’ve already begun wearing a few maternity items due to comfort, but I’m still able to make a lot of my clothes work and think I’ll be able to continue to incorporate a ton of my regular items for the next couple of months. Craving-wise, nothing intense has set in yet, but I’m still eating a lot of dill pickles and I did really enjoy a couple donuts this past week… :)

We haven’t even started to think towards the nursery or baby registry yet (I want to make it past the holidays before tackling such big to-dos) but I’ve been excited to get some small things for Baby – like a stocking hanging above the fireplace with mine and Aaron’s (more on our Christmas decor to come in the near future :) and Baby’s first gifts from my brother & sister-in-law. Somehow these tangible little things help to make it all seem more real.

I’ve been feeling pretty good, though it seems to be a pattern that I feel nauseous after I eat a meal. So, that’s been less than fun. But I’ll take that over the 24/7 nausea that I had for 6 solid weeks, for sure!

I’m so thankful Baby and I are doing well, and I’m grateful I feel well enough to get a lot done! So, I’ll wrap this up and get back to my editing workload. :) Hope everyone has a fabulous Monday!
