In this amazing industry that I’ve been privileged to be part of over the last 7.5 years, I’ve gotten to meet some fabulous and talented people. It’s kind of the best thing ever when a client becomes a friend, and then that friend becomes a fellow creative collaborator. Ashley is one such person. We first met over coffee back in 2011 to discuss shooting her wedding, and from the first meeting it seriously felt like we’d been friends for years. I loved capturing her super fun farm wedding, and then doing a really fun styled shoot together the next year, and then collaborating on a give-away, featuring her for a Wardrobe Wednesday and in general just gaining this creative lady as a friend. So, when she decided to open an Etsy store with her friend Andrea of well-curated vintage finds I knew a shoot collaboration just had to happen.

So, this past Spring – when both of us were 32 weeks pregnant (crazy that we’d end up having babies within a week of each other!) – we waddled around Carytown with two gorgeous models (who, themselves, are talented & creative ladies) and shot a few of their fun vintage outfits for a little lookbook for the Etsy shop. Since there are so many beautiful and fun images, I’m sharing the shoot in two parts. These first outfits are seriously perfect for Fall, and you’ll have to keep an eye on their shop to see when they and other similarly awesome items get posted so you can snag them up!

Are these girls gorgeous or what?? I absolutely love the outfits (as in, want to buy them all for myself!), and they wear them just perfectly. We had so, so much fun. Can’t wait to share the other half of really fun and colorful vintage pieces, soon! :)
