Goals: February 2016

2/16/16

I’m a little late in getting this post up, but now that I shared my year-long goals last month it’s time to get back to making-them-happen month by month! First, though, a little recap of some of the fun stuff that happen last month (and a few from December)!

We thoroughly enjoyed getting to celebrate our first holiday season with Llewyn! I got to go see an amazing Downton Abbey costume exhibit (cue all the fan-girl emotions), read The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up and began my KonMari journey (sooo good!), refreshed the mantle decor (which I’m loving), had numerous coffee dates but most notably one with friends I haven’t seen in about 7 years, have been reading The Nesting Place (highly recommend!) and getting all sorts of inspiration for new home decor projects, got to experience Llewyn’s first snow and several cozy days together as a family. It was a delightful month and such a great way to kick off the year!

Here’s what I’m working on for this month!

PERSONAL

  • Workout twice a week
  • Drink at least 3 tumblers of water per day
  • KonMari two more categories
  • Prep clothes for selling
  • Take another load of stuff to Goodwill
  • DIY new art piece for Kitchen
  • Get plant for living room

BUSINESS

  • Implement new receipt filing system
  • Get all tax prep done & turned into CPA
  • Clean office
  • Submit 1-2 shoots
  • Create/share ideal daily & weekly schedule
  • Finish designing wedding guide

Really excited and inspired to keep getting my home in order, and as I do so, to refresh and change up some of the decorative elements. Funny how sometimes you just need a little push, and The Nesting Place book has totally done that for me! I’m not going out and buying anything new, but just changing things up with stuff you already have can be so fun. Here’s to finishing off these goals before March hits!

Are you tackling any fun projects for your home or business this month?
