Oh my word. Where to start with this post? This was my last wedding of 2016, but I had been looking forward to it with SO much anticipation since my initial meeting with Katie & Nick back in January. Maybe it’s that I honestly felt like fast friends with them (and Katie’s mom!) from the minute we started talking, or that Katie was a bridesmaid in a wedding I shot a few years ago, or that they love the Lord with all of their being – but it was just an instant connection. I truly feel blessed and honored to have gotten to be part of their incredible love story (that involved a lot of long distance, which I personally remember all too well, myself) and to have celebrated alongside of them and their amazing community of family and friends. The Lord’s love, presence and joy was just so tangible throughout the whole day, and every person that was there to support them. Even after a long day, I left feeling excited and energized…and those kind of events are rare. Not to mention, gorgeous florals, a stunning wedding gown from Annalise Bridal and the historic setting of Main Street Station…and you just have an all around winner! So, suffice to say…it was a favorite day, and I know I included way too many photos. But they are just too wonderful (and too photogenic!) to have cut more out. I hope you enjoy stepping inside their beautiful day as much as I loved documenting it!
HUGE congrats to you, Katie & Nick! It was a true joy, and I’m so grateful to know you!
Shoutout to Nicki for shooting the day with me, and to these other fabulous vendors who made it such an incredible success!
