I’m so happy it’s Friday – the end to a wonderful week, and the start to an expectedly great weekend! Tomorrow I head to DC to second shoot for my dear friend Sarah, which always proves to be a good time, and it’ll be great to get back into the wedding scene, as my first […]

  • Aimee - Gotye and Fleming & John. I’m so glad I’ve had such an influence on you, at least in this way. I mean, I know I’m just awesome like that.

Next: check out the song “Being Me” by Ian Britt. I bet it would fit really well into that playlist.ReplyCancel

  • Leah Christine Imagery - Didn’t know you had a Keurig! ;-) I’ve eyed them for over a year now, and have used them at friend’s houses. Finally, about a week or so ago, I plunked down and got one of my own. I’m lovin’ it. ;-)ReplyCancel

  • Lydia - Please oh pretty please share how you did your organizational chart!! I’ve been wanting to make one forever and am so intimidated on how to get started! I even bought a frame for it already!ReplyCancel

Thank you AGAIN to everyone who gave feedback on Tuesday’s post. It’s so hard choosing the first few prints that will grace my office walls, but as I read more and more comments I realized 1) which one(s) would look best for my brand based on their colors, 2) which ones have the “feel” that […]

  • Jennoelle - That first one is my favorite. So, so gorgeous and I’m glad you chose it. :)ReplyCancel

  • Maria Davey - The middle photo. Oh my, oh my…I don’t think I’ve seen it until now but I can say it’s one of my favorites of yours! That’s going to look STUNNING on canvas!

Yay! I can’t wait to see your office space!ReplyCancel

First, I just want to thank you all for giving your opinions on the canvas choices, yesterday! It really did help me figure out what I could envision hanging in my office and what would make me happiest and what would work best for the particular canvas size. So, THANK YOU! I’ll give you an […]

  • Hannah Nicole - goodness, every week I think, “this is my new favorite outfit!” and then wednesday comes again and I think, “nope, it’s this one!” so cute! :)ReplyCancel

  • Karen - Dear Tori,
Please teach me how to thrift store shop!! Your style is amazingly awesome.
Love, a style challenged friend :)ReplyCancel

  • Sara - I love the pop of yellow! It’s so fun, bright, and spring-y! :) Annd you shoes are awesome.ReplyCancel

For those who know me fairly well, it’s no secret that I’m not the world’s most decisive person. It doesn’t mean I don’t have a clear vision of what I want….it just takes me a while to figure out what will accomplish that vision, sometimes. The current decision for which I’m a little stumped is […]

  • Lauryn - Danny and Janelle!! Unless the crop is really bad, thats my favorite. I like the colors, and I think it would bring a lot of YOU (color, texture, personality) into the space right away until you order more. :-)ReplyCancel

  • caitlin elizabeth - peter & kari!! or ashley :) they’re all so beautiful, but for your office i feel like those show off your talents best!!ReplyCancel

  • Jennifer (Deleted Space Creative) - I’m with Lauryn on this one! Danny and Janelle – I love the texture and the pop of your mustard yellow (and even some your brand’s grey and brown tones in the house). Plus, I think it has a great sense of scale and spaciousness that would look great on a wall…ReplyCancel

  • Hannah Nicole - All the shots are beautiful, but I think that Danny and Janelle would be a better fit for the size + would showcase you and your brand. Plus, it’s pretty dynamic, so it’d be a big, “BOOM” in your office. :)ReplyCancel

  • Sara - I say Ashley due to the edges of the canvas taking off a inch or so on all four sides. I do adore the last one of your sister just saying… love the colors and feeling of that image.ReplyCancel

  • Janelle - OBVIOUSLY I’d be super honored to hang in your office :) But I think it’s more of a question of what you want the feel of your office to be, because for me, they all give off such different feels! For me:
    -Ben&Amie is more rustic earthy
-Danny&I is more rustic and, like, epic?? Idk, the picture to me is epic haha :)
-Peter&Carie is more sweet and vintage
-Ashley is very whimsical and the B&W makes it like, classic/sophisticated
-Aimee is your sister, so it makes it much more personal!
Anyway, they are seriously all amazing, and I don’t think you could choose wrong!!ReplyCancel

  • Kate - I’m with Lauryn and Jennifer on this one. Of course I love the very Southern looking setting and the touch of yellow from Janelle’s skirt. I will admit though, I had a hard time between that picture and the one of Ashley. I LOVE THAT ONE, but you know I’m a big fan of black and white and anything bridal in my office so that is probably why I was so eager to vote for that shot. They are all wonderful, Tori, and I can’t wait to see the canvas once you decide which one to go with! :)ReplyCancel

  • Jessica Hunt - I feel like the one of Ben & Amie would really make your office space look larger and more colorful. Also, every time you see it, you will be reminded of why you are slaving away at your computer, for your couples.ReplyCancel

  • Joy - Danny and Janelle and Peter and Kari!! I could stare at those all day long :)ReplyCancel

  • Ashley@AttemptsAtDomestication - This reminds me of your debate with Aaron and not wanting his face hanging in the bedroom lol. Are you using this room as a guest room and office, or just office? If just office, they are all beautiful and just pick your favorite. If it’s a guest room too, then do you really want a close up, big picture of peoples’ faces staring at your guests? I think the first 2 (especially #1) would work best to show off your work, without having big pictures of people’s faces watching you.ReplyCancel

  • Aimee - I feel like either one of your sister might almost make it seem like you got to spend quality time with her each day. You and Canvas Aimee could have tea together every morning.ReplyCancel

  • Karen - Golly I can see why you have such a hard time choosing!! Any would look wonderful, but my top 2 favorites are Ben & Amie and Danny & Janelle!ReplyCancel

  • Steph - I would canvas the one of Peter and Kari against the fence or the b&w of Aimee. Gorgeous work!ReplyCancel

  • Jessica Shae - Ben & Amie! :) I love that shot…it’s gorgeous! And I think it would make a really beautiful dramatic canvas :)ReplyCancel

  • Rachel Leigh Greene - Peter and Kari :DReplyCancel

  • Regan - Another vote for Danny & Janelle! It’s beautifully dynamic and entirely unique! (Love those clouds!!) The colors are amazing and I feel it’s fairly flexible if you want to change your “feel” every now and then. It’s like an album cover for a best-selling artist! :)ReplyCancel

  • Janet McKnight - Ben and amie or Peter and Kari. The one of Peter and Kari might be my favorite wedding image of yours!ReplyCancel

  • Hailey - second one!! Danny and Janelle. that’s one of my favorite engagement shoots you’ve done!ReplyCancel

  • Leah Christine Imagery - I looove the one of Ben & Amie! My second choice would be the very last image of your sister, Aimee. =) Can’t wait to see what you pick!ReplyCancel

  • katy~* - danny and janelle. hello, pop of mustard yellow.ReplyCancel

  • Jessica Marcarelli - I think I like the idea of Danny and Janelle or the second one of Aimee. Either has a sort of “brandy” feel and both would go with your business colors. I could also see either one in an actual office space somewhere, so that’s a plus, as well.ReplyCancel

  • Korie - It’s a toss up between Danny and Janelle and the one of Ashley. Tough call, Tori! I look forward to seeing what you end up going with!ReplyCancel

  • And the canvas print is…. » Marvelous Things Photography | Blog - […] you AGAIN to everyone who gave feedback on Tuesday’s post. It’s so hard choosing the first few prints that will grace my office walls, but as I read […]ReplyCancel

It took me far too long to finally jump on the Downton bandwagon, but now that I have and I’ve already finished Season 2, whatever am I going to do until Season 3 comes out? And why, oh why, must it take so long to get to the US? I’m not even sure I yet […]

  • Sarah - Oh gosh, no joke I am having the same problem! I finished the Season 2 just last week and after all those heart wrenching episodes I just don’t know what to do with myself until the fall. It put me in a kick for watching things of a different time period, so maybe starting a show like Mad Men will be a good time killer until Season 3 starts?ReplyCancel

  • Regan - I’m right there with you!! I finished season 2 nearly two months ago and I’m STILL longing for more! There is nothing quite like Downton Abbey to take it’s place either! So the wait continues… *sigh*ReplyCancel

  • Emily - I jumped on the bandwagon right as season 2 was coming out— thankfully it was over Christmas break because I was hooked!!! Truly marvelous! Foyle’s War is another great BBC show and the new Sherlock Holmes series is brilliant as well. Obviously in different time periods but still pumpin’ out those british accents;) {p.s. I was just in London and the accents truly are just as good -if not better- as we hear them on tv!}ReplyCancel

  • Tori - @Emily – Yes! I love the new Sherlock series, too! I still have a few more episodes of that to watch. It’s SO GOOD.ReplyCancel
