Tara & Stephen | Boho Green & Gray Winter Wedding

3/23/17

So, here’s the thing. I KNOW this is too many photos to share in a post. I know that, I really do. But when you’ve known the bride truly almost her entire life, are also good friends with the groom, and knew like 95% of all the people at the wedding….it’s hard not to overshare. Add on top of that working with so many favorite vendors, absolute style perfection in all of the apparel and the lush greenery everywhere, and it’s just the makings of all the dreamiest, happiest photos. Tara & Stephen are so special to me, and you’ve seen them on this blog several times by now. But THIS was the epitome of special days and it was such an honor to get to capture it for them, finally documenting the beginning of their forever. As someone who knows how difficult a long distance relationship is, it’s been incredible to watch Tara & Stephen walk it out over the course of three long years with so much hope, joy and trust in the Lord. Nothing is sweeter than when you FINALLY get to really do life together, and that anticipation was palpable on their special day. We raced against an impending thunderstorm to get portraits done – literally hopping in our cars as the huge rain drops started to really fall. Even in that, God’s grace was all over the day, and everything truly couldn’t have turned out more perfect. Friends, thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me with your wedding. It was so hard to pick favorites, and I’m almost entirely sure I still left far too many out. But I hope you ALL enjoy this peek into the joy that was February 25th, 2017!

Of course I had to hop in one real quick, before the rain started. It’s fun to see how far we’ve come, since we have a similar picture together from MY wedding back in 2010.

All of the people that came together to make this day so special and perfect are just the best there is. To my dear Nikki who shot the day with me, and all the fellow vendors below, to the countless friends that donated their time and efforts to pull off everything…it was truly a team effort and you are all amazing! It was a joy to share in this day with all you.
