Happy Monday, friends! I hope it’s been a wonderful one for you, thus far, and that it’s the start of a great week for everyone. It’s been a fun several days for me as my siblings are in town visiting right now (they arrived last Wednesday evening, and leave early this Wednesday morning – staying for my brother’s full Spring Break!) so we’ve mostly been hanging out, but trying to mix some work time in between now and then. Today we all decided to park ourselves at a local coffee shop and all respectively get some things done on our to-do lists. One of MY items, as you may have been able to guess, was to blog!
So today, in honor of said siblings being around, I thought I’d post the mini (and spontaneous) shoot that I did of my brother Asher on Friday. I’ve done a few of my sister fairly recently, but not of my brother. So, as we were hanging out at a mall, and it was a nice day, I decided to make him pose for me. Surprisingly, I didn’t actually have to convince him too much. I mean, the kid hasn’t had any official photos taken since I did his senior portraits back in the day, and that was 4 years ago! (Because obviously by “kid” I actually mean “22 year old adult that’s about to graduate from college next month”….)
I love his dark brown eyes that he gets from our Dad.
He’s also got pretty great style, if I do say so myself.
He also laughs a lot…
And he’s definitely a man of MANY faces.
Like I said, MANY faces…. :)
Good lookin’ guy, huh?? Yes, ladies, he IS single! But be warned….I’m a pretty protective and picky sister. ;) At any rate, I hope you enjoyed the results of our spontaneous little shoot! I thought it turned out pretty great, and it’s been so awesome getting some quality time with him (and my sister, too, of course!).
These are so good, Tori! I’m loving your lifestyle shoots.
Saw your post come up on my newsfeed on facebook tonight! What incredible photos and obviously a very photogenic brother that you have, too! Best wishes to you as you continue to fulfill your love for the art of photography! Studying people is a passion of mine and even though I don’t really know Asher, you capture him well and I feel as though I got to know him through the pictures. Kudos to you and I will be sure to check out your future work :)
Haha, the next to last one is totally the perfect “Hello, Ladies,” shot. Profile picture that ish, Asher!
it’s so strange when little brothers become men, isn’t it? haha. love this post.
Great photos; Handsome brother; wonderful photographer!
I hope you are doing well.
