With the chillier (and often rainy) Spring temperatures we’ve had over the past few days here in Richmond, I think it’s become clear that you can’t entirely count boots out of your wardrobe just yet. But today’s outfit incorporates them in a very Spring-appropriate way. I was smitten with the black & white polka dots paired with the bright pinky red, and brown and gold accents from this original inspiration photo and knew I had just the pieces in my closet to come up with something similar.

I don’t have any red skirts, but I love this bright orange one that I got last fall and knew it would serve well as the needed pop of color.
This sheer black & white top has proven to be one of my favorite thrift store finds. I love that it’s loose and comfy, but still cute and kind of dressy.
Skirt: H&M, $20 | Shirt: Thrifted, $4 | Boots: Rack Room Shoes, $7 (on crazy clearance) | Belt: H&M, came with skirt | Necklace: Thrifted, $3
So how do YOU feel about polka dots? Do you have any in your wardrobe? I know stripes are really in right now, but I feel like these happy little dotted prints remain a classic staple to any wardrobe, as well. Hope you’re having a wonderful week and a Happy Wednesday!
I almost wore my boots the other day because it was cold, rainy and gross. We need to go thrifting together sometime, I’m terrible at finding clothes there!
