Happy Tuesday, friends! I hope you all are having a smashing week, thus far. I, for one, enjoyed a relaxing day off yesterday, and woke up this morning ready to hit the ground running! And on that note, today I’m excited to bring you the beautiful wedding of Ben & Amie! It was a particular joy when Amie first contacted me about shooting their wedding, because I’d been hearing about her for a couple years, but had never had the chance to meet her, myself. That sounds weird, I realize, but it’s because she’s the SISTER of my very dear friend Sarah. So, naturally, I already knew she was going to be one of the sweetest, most genuine, and most lovely people I’d ever meet. And indeed, she is. Her and Ben together are the very picture of love, and it was truly amazing to get to photograph their romance.

After their ceremony, before the reception, they were AWESOME and built in about an hour for us to go wander around this amazing field and do portraits of the two of them. The results of which, I absolutely love.

They were SO natural – I hardly had to pose them at all! And even when I did, all of the emotion and romance was so present and so genuine. They really are the picture of being in love.

This tree was too crazy and awesome, we couldn’t pass it up!
