It’s SO good to be back home after an amazing week at TeenPact National Convention, in Dayton, TN. One of my favorite things that any TeenPact event involves is corporate worship, and everyone that ever attends these events always agrees it’s one of – if not THE – best part of the week. It’s especially incredible that we got to do it every day, in the morning and evening. There’s just something awesome about singing with 500+ other people in adoration to the Lord, you know? And since pictures often speak more than words, I wanted to share a bunch of my favorite images from the different worship sessions throughout the week, and the “quiet time” that the students had each morning.
In the back of the room, they had a “prayer wall” that you could go write things on. Prayers, praises, thoughts, verses….anything. And it was so cool to read what was on the hearts of others there.
Each evening before worship they had a scripture reading and I got asked to do it for one of the nights. I got to read Romans 12, and was so neat to get to simply read the word of God in the midst of worship.
It was such a joy to attempt to capture the essence of worship in photos. I don’t know if it’s ever really possible, but I hope these give you a glimpse… (to see more images you can go here)
Powerful. Beautiful, heartfelt, spirit-filled images. :)
