I’m writing today’s post from the comfort and familiarity of the couch that has been a staple in my family’s home for my entire life. Sitting in the living room of my parent’s home and enjoying time in the land of corn (i.e. Indiana) and with my family is always a joy, but it’s EXTRA special to be here this weekend for the specific purpose of being at my brother’s college graduation tomorrow. I’m SO proud of Asher, and it’s astounding to me that so much time has gone by and that a college graduation can even BE a reality. But it is, and it was worked for diligently and with perseverance. My brother is incredibly talented, driven, and filled with passion. I know this is only the BEGINNING of the amazing things he will accomplish in his life, and I’m so grateful for the chance to get to witness where the journey of life will take him over the years. And I’m particularly excited that it will start by taking him to the DC area which is RATHER close to meeee! :D
So, here’s to the BEST younger brother a girl could ever ask for and to celebrating what he’s accomplished, and the amazing ways that God will use his many talents to impact this world!
Congratulations, bro! So glad I get to be here to celebrate with you. :)
