Whew! Another month has come and gone, and we’re HALFWAY through 2012, already! Crazy. But May was a lovely month that included happy things like new vintage dresses, coffee shop work days, loose-leaf-tea gifts from Aaron, adopting our KITTIES!, friends visiting, my brother GRADUATING COLLEGE, getting things hung up around the house, discovering more lipstick colors, ordering my custom flash drives, having my first days at the pool, seeing Indiana sunsets again, and my first Craigslist purchase!
And here’s the progress that was made on last month’s goals:
PERSONAL
– Workout 3-4 times a week (except for the 10 days that I was gone…)
– Drink at least 1 Nalgene bottle of water per day
– Finish 2nd Samuel & start a New Testament book
– Have coffee/girl time at least 4 times
– Try out at least 2 new recipes, of any kind
– Work on/accomplish a DIY jewelry project
– Hang canvas prints in bedroom
– Attend brother’s college graduation in IN!
– Squeeze in as MUCH personal time w/ friends as possible while in IN
BUSINESS
– Finish unpacking boxes in Office
– Purchase necessary storage units to better organize supplies
– Sort all receipts for March/April
– Update book keeping for March/April
– Submit 1-2 weddings/shoots for publication
– Blog 3-4 times per week
– Write a concise “mission statement”
– Better customize SmugMug
– Better customize Facebook Biz Page
– Create a general weekly work schedule
– Order business cards (I did part one of this, at least!)
– Order custom flash drives
– Attend TeenPact National Convention with Aaron & photograph entire event!
YAY! Overall, I’d say May was rather successful. So, here’s what is on the plate for June:

*As you can see, one of my goals for this month is to buy the “perfect” yellow necklace that I can wear while shooting weddings, sometimes, to bring that Marvelous Things iconic pop of color. But, I’m a little torn, right now! Here are 4 that I’m seriously considering….which one do you like best? I’m always curious to get feedback when I’m indecisive on things. :)
HAPPY JUNE, everybody! What are you hoping to achieve this month??
I really like the one on the bottom right :)
One of the top two! For sure! I like the chunkier ones. :)
I think the top right is the most “you,” maybe, in terms of the coolness of the statement, but I feel like the bottom left is the most wearable with a variety of tops and necklines, and I like the vintage vibe and color for your brand…
I like both on the left.
I’m liking the bottom left, personally, but you could really pull off any of them with your style. (:
Liking both on the right best, but they’re all pretty. :)
LOVE THEM ALL! But I know that doesn’t help much, so I vote for the one with the earrings because earrings will give you that extra pop! :)
I like the two on the right best. :) If I had to choose only one, I’d take the one on the top right.
I love the bottom left!! :)
Hi Tori! I’m a new follower, and love your little space :)
You should definitely go with the first one! It’s got the brightest POP and the rope is fabulous!

What a great idea to write and publish your goals. I’m so inspired! I’m sure they are even more motivating when you share them with your friends!
Top right for sure, where can i get it?
Sorry top left for sure, where can i get it?
Rodrigo, It was from Francessca’s! They probably don’t carry that exact one anymore, though. :-/
