Sooo, it’s still kind of crazy to me that my sister is really GETTING MARRIED! And in less than 4 weeks! But, I couldn’t be happier for her and the guy that stole her heart. I’ve prayed for years that God would bring the right guy into her life. Someone who would really understand, appreciate, love and care for her for who she is (I mean, that’s what we ALL want for our nearest and dearest, right?). And I’m truly happy to say that I can tell Marvin is that person. The way they click with each other, the way they laugh and joke, and the way Marvin cares for, encourages and supports her through the many up and down battles she fights with her health are just a few of the outward evidences. It was so much fun to get to do an engagement session when I was in Indiana for her bridal shower, and I’m SUPER excited to show them off today!

We started out in Barnes & Noble, as this is where they had their very first date (cue the “awww”ing).

Marvin kicked off the session by saying things that got him in trouble…..and pretty much continued doing so for the entirety. ;)

They CLEARLY don’t lack personality…. ;)

So, this owl. Apparently Marvin has tortured Aimee with it since the beginning of their relationship. Only seemed right to include the little guy in some photos…

After Barnes & Noble, and a wardrobe change, we headed over to one of the loveliest spots in West Lafayette, IN – the pedestrian bridge.

The sun was doing such lovely things.

She always wanted a sapphire in her ring (since it’s her birthstone) and Marvin made that happen beautifully.

More getting in trouble…haha.

Ahhh, is my sister lovely or WHAT?! Golden light suits her well. :)

And, of course, I couldn’t resist a little “photobooth” fun.

You can just TELL how much fun Marvin was having! ;)

Seriously, aren’t they perfect together?? I’m so, so excited for them. So thrilled to be gaining a brother, and grateful to know that my sister will be loved, adored and cared for as she deserves. :) You can see the FULL gallery here, and you should definitely check out her blog to read some of their love story.
