It’s Monday! And while that normally means we’re all mourning the end of the weekend, I thought I would counter some of the I-have-to-go-back-to-work blues by bringing you a happy wedding to look at! I’ve said before how much fun (and what a privilege!) it is to shoot the weddings of my friends, and it’s true every time. Katie has been a friend since elementary school, when we met through our local children’s community theater (and were in 5 wonderfully fun productions together). Katie’s mom, Claudia, was the amazing music director for each of these performances, and my family quickly grew to be friends with the whole Earnest family. So, when Katie went off to college and started dating this guy named Chance, she knew pretty early on that she’s snagged a good one, and it was just a matter of time before they’d get married. :) A few years later the time had come and she emailed me about shooting her wedding! I was super excited to get to travel back to Indiana and be part of their day. It was an honor to be there, and SUCH fun hanging out with all of them, again. I hope you enjoy seeing some of their special moments.
Katie made her lovely bouquet! I’ve seen really colorful brooch bouquets that are awesome, but I love how elegant the monochromatic look is.
Loved her cute TOMS! :)
Katie did a First Look with her Dad right before going to do one with Chance. It was such a sweet, emotional moment.
I just love First Looks!
Her parent pictures were just too cute. Katie wore her Mom’s veil, so it cracked me up when Claudia got under it, too! Those Earnests are just brimming with personality. :)
Of course, Chance and his parents seemed to be having a good time, too. :)
Ahh, such a beautiful, beeming bride!
They had a fun candy station as their wedding favors, and did a BRUNCH buffet for food, since it was an early afternoon wedding. And who doesn’t just LOVE brunch?!
They had some outside seating, too, and a photobooth area!
Haha, this little guy DEFINITELY loaded up on candy before the end of the reception… ;)
Katie and Chance, thanks again for having me as part of your day! I wish you SO many blessings in your marriage. :) And HAPPY MONDAY to everyone!
