Friennnnnds! I’m so, so excited to be bringing you another installment of Wardrobe Wednesday, today! It was good to take a break during the craziness of July & August, but I definitely missed it. (And my own mother-in-law said she didn’t have any idea what to wear for those two months – haha! So, I apologize to those of you who I let down during the brief break. ;) I’m especially happy to be picking it back up as my favorite season is just around the corner! But, for now, I’m enjoying the end of summer and this week’s look is perfect for just that! The inspiration comes from J.Crew (so you KNOW it’s going to be good) and I love the cute, care-free simplicity of it.

But what’s a girl to do when she DOESN’T own a chambray shirt? (Gasp, I know!) Look in her closet and find the closest thing, of course. And I think this oxford shirt of mine provides a very similar feel, and I even like the extra pattern it adds to the outfit.

These fun shorts are some new favorites that I got over the summer on clearance from Urban Outfitters. High waisted + pockets = winnn.
