Today marks the best two years of my life, thus far! Yes, it’s Election Day – which is SUPER important, and I hope you all have or will go out and vote (which is the first thing we did this morning) – but more importantly to me, it’s the anniversary of the day I made the best decision ever and married the insanely handsome man I get to call husband. Aaron is the greatest gift I could ever ask for. Grounded, logical, and patient with me even when my emotions are a mess. An amazing chef, and hilariously witty. He knows the little things that make me smile, and goes out of his way to show love in the ways that mean the most to me. More than just all of the incredible qualities that he posesses, though, two years of marriage has been amazing because we’re living and establishing life together. As one. It’s not always a walk in the park, but it’s the most rewarding journey I’ve ever been on, and I truly believe it’s only going to get better and better with each passing year. I love that we got married in November, because with Thanksgiving around the corner I’m grateful that each anniversary is a chance to truly count my blessings and express my gratitude for the incredible life and incredible husband I’ve been blessed with. I don’t want to be too long winded, or too sappy, so I’ll just end with this: two years later and I still feel like the luckiest girl alive! I can’t wait for the next two years and the 60+ after that! I love you, Aaron.
Huge thanks to Rebekah Murray for capturing our day with such perfect vibrance. These images still make my heart so very happy.
