Well, this one takes the cake. It’s December 20th, and I haven’t posted this month’s goals, yet. Truth be told, I had entirely forgotten until last week. But how sad would it have been to miss the LAST month of the year?? I couldn’t let that happen. So, here we go!
A little recap of November: Aaron & I celebrated our 2nd anniversary, I met John & Sherry of Young House Love, I went to the giant Yankee Candle Store for the first time, we traveled to Florida for Thanksgiving, our new nephew Jonathan was born, I did my dream bridal shoot & developed wrist problems for the first time (boo). It was an eventful month, with so many wonderful things!
PERSONAL
– Get back to working out 3-4 times per week
– Gather and take all items that I’m getting rid of to friends/thrift store (still some things that need to be taken to Goodwill)
– Decide how/if I want to do Christmas cards this year
– Work on photobook and ORDER
– Order prints for Grandma
– Put together frame for Grandma
– Try at least one new recipe (I tried two that were great! One was a Chicken curry & the other a marinera chicken & veggies in the crockpot)
– HOLD OFF ON CHRISTMAS MUSIC TILL THANKSGIVING
– Decide on any DIY Christmas gift ideas & plan for them
BUSINESS
– Edit 3 weddings (still finishing them :-/)
– Submit at least 2 weddings/shoots for publication (I did one!)
– Finish writing my “why”
– Design at least 3 client albums (Again, did one….)
– Read 2 more chapters in Worth Every Penny
– Order shipping boxes
– Do styled shoot!
– Figure out tax issue with accountant
– Make blogging schedule for next month
Definitely didn’t accomplish all that I hoped. But it was a difficult month with some unexpected roadblocks, in my family as well as with my hard drive. Still, I’m grateful to have gotten done SOME of it! Here’s what I’ve been/am aiming at this month:
PERSONAL
– Send out Christmas cards
– Finish DIY Christmas gift
– Send gifts to Florida for Aaron’s family
– Make at least one batch of Christmas cookies
– Photobooth for Community Group Christmas party
– Watch White Christmas, the original Miracle on 34th St, and While You Were Sleeping before the month is over!
– Read at least 3 chapters in Wuthering Heights
BUSINESS
– Finish editing 2012 weddings
– Submit at least 2 shoots for publication
– Design at least 2 more client albums
– Write out blogging schedule for Jan
– Brainstorm/write out 2013 business goals/dreams
– Send out gifts
– Watch The Big Next with Justin & Mary on Showit Live
I can’t believe Christmas is almost here, and the year is nearly over! It’s CRAZY how quickly time goes. But here’s to finishing strong! And stay tuned, because there are a couple more give-aways gracing the blog SOON!
