2012 was the first year, since getting married in November 2010, that Aaron and I went to Indiana to do Christmas with my family. I’ve LOVED Christmas in Florida with Aaron’s family, and Thanksgiving with mine, but it was fun to get to experience those holidays with the opposite sides, this year. It didn’t snow ON Christmas Day, but it did some on the 26th, when we headed to my grandparent’s house to celebrate with my Dad’s side of the fam. So of course I had to snap a few photos. And additionally, my grandparents wanted an updated photo, so I took the opportunity to grab a few of them!
These are my dad’s parents, Ed & RuthAnne (and this is the grandma whose wedding dress I wore).
Aren’t they just so cute?? They’ve been married for over 50 years, and still as spunky as ever! :)
The whole clan!
And a few random shots from my parents’ house! (The un-named stockings are Aaron’s & Marvin’s. :) We did so many fun things while together. Played games, colored, watched favorite movies, talked, laughed, opened fabulous presents, and shared memories and gratefulness from 2012. My Mom also got me hooked on Phrase Friends. Hah! Such a great way to celebrate Christmas and the closing of 2012 with the family I’m SO grateful to be part of.
Where did you celebrate Christmas, this year? What was your favorite moment with family/friends?
