Today I’m thrilled to be showing off Shawn & Katie’s fun and vibrant Washington DC wedding from last September! It was a day full of beautiful color, much laughter, and truly joyful celebration between family and friends. Shawn & Katie were SO wonderful to work with – such warm, accommodating people, they and their families welcomed me into their special day with open arms and I couldn’t have been happier to document their love and commitment.

I love that they did a First Look – and Shawn’s reaction was priceless!

These two seriously made my job easy. They were so great at bringing the drama!

I loved Katie’s whole look – the beautiful dress, simple hair style, and gorgeous hair piece.

How FUN are all of the different colored shoes and flowers against the gray dresses? I love that she went with this for the color pallet!

And, of course, the guys worked in all of the different colors, too!

After the ceremony we walked just a couple blocks over to the reception venue, right as it was becoming evening. I love city lights at night!

It was such a seriously fun day, and I’m so glad I got to be part of it! HAPPY TUESDAY to you all! :)
