I love that lace is currently trendy, while also being vintage/classic in nature. It adds a soft, feminine touch to an outfit and instantly dresses it up. When I saw this cute combo of lace top + bow belt and pleated skirt, I knew I wanted to try to make it work from my wardrobe. And though I went with a whole different color combo, I really like the results!

This necklace is one of my absolute favorites, as it’s a custom piece from Relinked Relics that I got to help design recently! The charms are so fun and I can’t get over how much I love the two different chains paired together. Irene & Kathy really are amazing at the pieces they create!

Isn’t this a cute Spring look? I love that adding a layer on top of a dress can give it a whole different look and create something entirely new. Happy Wednesday, friends!
I also love the idea of lace over a dress! My sister started wearing sheer shirts over a dress she has, and it gave me the idea of wearing a lace shirt I have over a semi-formal dress I have… I’ll have to send you a picture when I finally work up the nerve to wear it :)
@Audra – that sounds awesome! You definitely should send me a photo when you wear it. :)
A favorite Wardrobe Wednesday for sure!!! I love your color choice! I think your creation beats the inspiration photo :) Love it!
I think this might be my favorite wardrobe Wednesday to date! :)
Lace and Vintage are the BEST! You look great!
