At this time last year, my sister had just gotten engaged and was planning a small August wedding – and I was thrilled to see her find the man of her dreams to begin life with. But, never would I have thought that LESS than a year later, my BROTHER would be doing the exact same thing! But that’s what’s so cool about God’s timing, love and the uniqueness of everyone’s story. I’m so very, very grateful that Asher has found the girl of his dreams – someone who loves and adores him for who he is, supports and encourages him, AND can dish back quick-witted replies with the same spunky and competative nature that is such a part of his personality. ;) They both seem to bring out the best in each other, and that’s a beautiful thing to see!

So at the end of April my brother proposed to Melissa, and then promptly came to Richmond to help us move into our new house! (They earned mad family points for helping US out on their special weekend :) Thus, we couldn’t let the opportunity pass by to do engagement photos!

My brother has NO lack of personality. ;)
