I LOVE Spring. And I really enjoy the variety of weather it can provide (aside from all the rainy days), but being that it can go from 75 one day to a high of 55 the next, it can make wardrobe choices a little tricky. So, sometimes you just need a cute coat to add to your outfit to provide the perfect extra layer while you’re out and about. I’m not sure it’s EVER happened before, but when I came across this inspiration photo and was admiring it….I suddenly realized that I actually have the exact same coat that she’s wearing! So, of course I knew an outfit had to be created since I really could achieve a similar look.

I’m so glad my sister gave me this coat, because it has become my Spring favorite. It’s one of my favorite colors, and it’s so comfortable – tied or left open. And I love the look of it paired with the outfit (which I also like on it’s own, as mixing patterns is another favorite thing of mine, lately). When planning outfits, do you take your coat into consideration as PART of the outfit?
