Sometimes I like to just get back to the basics, and it can be the simplest things that make for a great outfit. I loved the simplicity of this inspiration photo: shirt buttoned all the way up, tucked in, and no belt. Just very clean, classic and straight-forward. I took a more neutral route with my outfit (as I didn’t have a colorful short-sleeved shirt) but I really like the results. Plus, we all know I like a good outfit that I can wear my loafers with. :)

I LOVE this little necklace that my dear friend gave me, for being part of her wedding. It’s the perfect, sweetest little accent.
Shirt: Thrifted, $3 | Pants: Old Navy, $15 | Necklace: Gift | Shoes: Thrifted, $5
How do you feel about tucked-in & buttoned all the way up? Aaron makes fun of me for both of those, as I know they’re older style aspects that are coming back in. But, as you can tell, I certainly feel that they have their time and place and can make for great outfits. :)
As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts!
You always have the best style! That necklace is so pretty! <3
As long as you’re not wearing mom jeans, I say tuck away! I’m currently buttoned and tucked as well – but with a skirt! It’s great for showing off fun little detailing that sometimes gets hidden by an untucked shirt. :) Thanks for sharing this fun one!
Girl, you pulled this off SO well! (so cute!) I’m coming to Richmond in a few weeks and was wondering if you could recommend some good thrift stores – you thrift the cutest things ever! Thanks!
@Kryn – My favorites are Rumors Boutique, The Clothes Rack, Bygone’s Vintage (expensive, but amazing things) all in downtown Richmond and then I tend to have good luck with the thrift stores on the south side of the city off of Midlothian Tnpk: Goodwill, Salvation Army, Family Thrift & Love of Jesus Thrift store. Hope you have a great time in Richmond and find some fun treasures thrifting! :)
