You might be asking yourself as you read the title of this post, “Is this girl really going to dedicate an entire post to iPhone photos of her cats?” And the answer is yes. Yes I am. And I have no shame! These little fur buddies of mine are such a happy part of my daily life that I feel a little update on their comings and goings, now and then, is only fitting. (If you missed seeing them as babies or their other adventures, you should check those out, too ;)

Cooper is an expert lounger. I know a lot of cats are lazy, but he’s right up there with the best of them. Sometimes, he can can’t even bring himself to get wherever he was going and just plops down in the middle of the floor for a nap before continuing his journey to the couch or bed….for another nap.

He really loves the stools in the kitchen, and consequently I have breakfast company most mornings, which is lovely.

He’s also a very frequent work companion and finds his way into whatever available space there may be on my lap or office chair as I work.

Penny, of course, is also an expert cuddler. And oddly into laundry, it seems.

This girl LOVES to burrow her way into cozy, hidden places. Drop cloths being a popular one, lately.

They are both just the best cats in the world, and I’m so happy we’ve had them for a year and a half, now! They provide daily entertainment (and occasional middle-of-the-night “Really?! How can they be so noisy??”) and I can’t imagine what it would be like without them. Pets are just the best. Hope everyone has the happiest of weekends!
