I’m SO excited that it’s the first Wednesday in September, and thus time for some of my favorite posts to return! Taking the break from Wardrobe Wednesday is always a bit of a bummer, but I feel like I take them on again with fresh inspiration after the break, and it makes starting back up even more fun. So, I’m excited to bring you today’s fun and colorful pattern-mixing look. When I saw this inspiration photo it just made me happy to see the different colors and bold patterns, and I knew that I could do something similar with these pieces in my closet.

This shirt was one of my favorite thrift finds this Spring, and I think it’s pretty fun paired with these shorts that I got last year. I would have never thought of them together until seeing that photo on Pinterest, though, which is why I love doing these posts so much. It pushes me to see my own clothes differently.

September weather has got to be some of my favorite. It’s nice and non-humid out today, but still definitely warm enough to get some more wear in for favorite shorts and sandals. I DO love the smell of Autumn in the air, though, and the anticipation of it being just around the bend. What items are you excited to wear a couple more times before warm weather is gone?
Happy Wednesday, friends!
Hooray for the return of Wardrobe Wednesday!
So happy to see these posts back!! I’ve missed them!
