Well, there are official signs of Fall in my own backyard. BUT, since Summer technically continues until the 20th, I’ve decided to get a few last wears in for some of my favorite summery items. Like my light blue seersucker skirt that I’ve had for years. So when I came across this photo on Pinterest, I thought it would make for the perfect outfit inspiration. Granted, I think I could make the skirt work for Fall paired with some darker elements, but for this fun, pastel floral look, I knew my time was getting limited.

I don’t do a lot of pastel/floral things in my wardrobe, but this shirt was my Grandma’s (who passed away last year) and anything that my Mom finds and gives me of her’s, is obviously special. So, I’ve kept it for a while, not sure if I’d ever actually wear it. But I really like it paired with the seersucker and anchored with the brown belt and purse, to bring in a little contrast.
Skirt: Thrifted, $3 | Shirt: Was my Grandma’s | Belt: Came with a dress | Shoes: Seychelles, $68 | Ring: Was my Grandma’s | Purse: Fossil Outlet, $100
Is anyone else still holding onto summer for a bit longer? What are the items in your wardrobe you’ll miss most once Fall really sets in?
thanks for dedicating this post to me!
love that blouse, btw.
