Sometimes you just don’t need to overcomplicate an outfit, and that’s what I love about today’s look. A simple fitted/pencil skirt, buttoned up chambray shirt, and very few accessories. It was hard for me not to add a necklace, but I actually enjoy just keeping it simple, sometimes. I don’t have any pencil skirts as fitted as the inspiration photo, but this striped one that I recently got at Addison Handmade and Vintage was a perfect substitute, and I like that it brings a little bit of pattern to the look.

Skirt: Addison Handmade & Vintage, $18 | Shirt: Old Navy, $20 | Shoes: Given to me | Clutch: Thrifted, $3 | Ring: Was my Grandma’s | Nails: Sally Hansen Loden Green, $5 | Lips: Revlon Balm + Stain (Color Adore), $9
Whats your favorite “simple” look for the colder months? Buttoning shirts all the way up is definitely one of my favorite simple things that I feel like still gives an outfit style.
Happy Wednesday, friends!
