We all have those go-to pieces in our wardrobe. And I’m probably not alone in this, but I’ll go through specific phases where those go-to’s are almost the only thing I wear. This week’s outfit involves two of those current pieces for me: this maxi skirt, and my light chambray shirt. They are both so incredibly versatile and can be worn with so many things. But I loved the simplicity of this inspiration photo that I pinned, and chose to create a similar look as a perfect go-to outfit throughout the Fall and Winter.

Skirt: Old Navy, $7 | Shirt: Old Navy, $20 | Boots: Etsy, $68 | Necklace: Relinked Relics, gift | Belt: Came with a dress | Ring: Richmond Folk Festival, $8
Skirts are just so comfortable, and I think that’s why when I find one with a pattern I love, it instantly becomes a favorite and gets worn a ton. What’s your current go-to outfit?
Happy snow-day friends! Hope everyone is staying warm!
I wish I could pull off maxi skirts like you! My go to outfit for the winter is a black sweater dress and boots; comfy and classy.
I absolutely love this outfit. Maxi skirts with denim are just so pretty!
