Back when I first came across this inspiration photo, I loved that it had pretty color and floral pattern, while still being a Fall or Winter look. So, when I got contacted last week by a rep from ProFlowers.com, saying they were looking for different bloggers to put together floral-inspired outfits for them to share on their social media sites, I knew this was the look I wanted to emulate. The yellow/gold and deep maroon colors found on the orchid section of their site paired perfectly with this photo from Pinterest as the outfit inspiration.

I’ve had this shirt in my wardrobe for a few years, now, and it’s always been one of my favorites. I love that it has so many pops of color in it, while still being fairly neutral. The tights and lipstick were the perfect way to draw color from the blouse, while still having an overall subtle feel.
Shirt: Thrifted, $4 | Skirt: Urban Outfitters, $29 | Tights: J.Crew Outlet, $8 | Boots: Old Navy, $20 | Belt: Thrifted, $3 | Scarf: Ross, $14 | Bag: Thrifted, $10 | Ring & Bracelets: Thrifted & Given to me
I don’t know about you, but on wintery days like today, I love having fun pops of color that remind me Spring is around the corner. What is your favorite way to add pops of color to your winter wardrobe? Nail polish and lipstick are two of my favorite (and easiest) options, but of course I love having pieces like this floral top to easily incorporate, as well.
Happy winter-wardrobing, friends!
What lipstick is that? I love it! It pulls the pink colour from your top beautifully!
It’s Revlon’s “Just Bitten Kissable” stain + balm, and the color is “Crush”. :)
