It feels nearly impossible to even know where to begin with this wedding. It was, by far, one of my favorites I’ve ever gotten to be part of, and more than that Mary & Tim are one of the most talented, kind and fun couples I’ve had the privilege of working with. Mary works for Etsy and is also a jewelry designer (whose creations are now some of my favorite pieces), and Tim is a food stylist, freelance writer, and blogger. They own Etsy shops and run a fabulous lifestyle blog together called 17 Apart. Basically, talent and creativity just oozes from everything they touch. So, it’s probably of no surprise that almost all of the amazing details you’ll see throughout their special day were personally done by them and their loved ones. Their goal was to have a local or DIY story behind every aspect of their day, and they achieved it with flying colors. Add to that a stunning Sarah Seven dress and the scenery of the Poe Museum gardens, and you have a breath-taking winner. So, without further ado, enjoy a peek into one of my very favorite wedding days.
I mean, is this not one of the coolest weddings ever?! Mary could not have rocked that dress more beautifully, and the atmosphere of both the Poe Museum and the Roosevelt could not have been more wonderful and accommodating for this celebration. I’m truly honored to have been part of it along with so many incredible vendors. Special thanks to Sarah Goodwin for helping me document the day! (For a complete list of all of the amazing vendors and awesome DIY projects they did, be sure to check out this fabulous feature on Bespoke Bride and their blog, 17 Apart where they’re giving a lot of the how-to’s for the projects they did themselves.)
