I have long had this week’s inspiration photo pinned on my style board, and have always loved it. But I never had quite the right pieces to do a sweater over a dress or skirt/shirt like that. So, I decided to go a different direction with it and allow the color scheme to be the inspiration, instead of the actual types of pieces of clothing. And the outfit that I put together became an instant favorite. The mustard mixed with some teal and other earth tones is just such a beautiful color combo, and it’s a great look for both Fall & Spring since the wool skirt hints at chillier weather, while the colorful shoes, shirt and necklace keep it from being too wintery.

I love incorporating this necklace into as many outfits as possible. It’s my top favorite piece since I helped design it, and I get the most compliments on it. Those ladies at Relinked Relics are just beyond talented.
Skirt: Addison Handmade & Vintage, $18 | Shirt: Thrifted, $20 | Shoes: Target, $9 | Necklace: Relinked Relics, gift | Clutch: Anne Taylor Loft (Thrifted), $8
Anyone else love the color scheme of this outfit as much as I do? Muted jewel tones, for the win! :)
Happy Wednesday!
OH! SUCH a fun combination. Really love that top with that pencil skirt. Bag is fantastic, and cuuuute pumps. AND THAT NECKLACE! A fan of this outfit :)
