This handsome man joins me in the ranks of 28, today! (Yes, I’m 4 months older….cradle robber, I know.) So, a little birthday shout out to my one-and-only is in order!

Aaron isn’t one for excessive attention, and he doesn’t usually like having his photo taken – so we can all deduce how much he sacrifices just being married to someone like me who LOVES photos, loves sharing about my life, and enjoys shouting from the mountaintops how much I love him. His willingness to acknowledge and celebrate our differences is one of the things I appreciate most about him, all the while making time and priority for the things we have in common and enjoy doing together. He’s got the best sense of humor and it’s a daily highlight that he sends me random links over IM to read or watch or laugh at throughout my work day. He’s practical and a problem solver, and is such a great balance when all I can see or feel are the emotions in a situation. He’s creative and innovative, and passionate about all things Fantasy Football (which means he’s pretty excited this time of year!).

He’s the most handsome man I’ve ever known, and his sense of style (especially for someone who “doesn’t care about clothes”) is impeccable. He’s dedicated, and when he sets his mind to a new challenge he goes at it with focus and determination. He also loves to see me achieve my goals and is a constant support and accountability to help me get there. But more than anything, I love that Aaron is a man of faith and strong conviction, and I see that play out in his life on a daily basis. When I fell in love with him almost 5 years ago, I only really saw the surface of his many amazing qualities and was still in awe. Life with him just keeps getting better, and I know it’s going to continue that way. So here’s to 28, and the guy who makes it look oh-so-attractive! Happy Birthday, my love!
