I loved the fun colorful skirt + chambray look for this week’s inspiration, but I’m not sure how she manages to look so cute with her shirt like that. It definitely wasn’t flattering on me, so I decided to tie it above the bump, which I’d say will probably flatter way more women. But either way, I think it’s a fun look and is something I wore before being pregnant, as well, so I was happy to see it translate easily to a maternity look.

Dress: Target, $25 | Shirt: Old Navy, $20 | Boots: Plato’s Closet, $16 | Earrings: Francessca’s, $8 | Ring: Was my Grandma’s | Bracelets: Thrifted, $1 each | Lip Color: Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Stain + Balm, “Rendezvous”
This is such a fun and easy way to transition some wardrobe favorites to work during pregnancy. Here is a similar look with a few different accessories from before I was pregnant. Maxi dresses are just so comfortable and always a good idea in my opinion, and there’s something about pairing chambray with them that you can’t go wrong with.
Happy Wardrobing, friends!
Love this look! How do you get your shirt on top to fold neatly (especially in back) when you tie it in the front? do you roll yours, tuck it, or just leave it? Thanks!!
I just kind of tuck it a little, but I find I don’t need to do much if I make sure it’s bunching in a smooth way as I’m actually tying it!
