The older I’m getting, the more I’m finding myself gravitating to simpler color palettes, less patterns, and even fewer accessories. Although, that last one could be more due to having a baby and just not finding them very practical right now. But regardless, I immediately loved this look of classic color tones with a nice vintage vibe, and surprisingly I had very similar items in my own closet, making it super easy to create the look for myself! This is an easy church or dinner-out look, or even just those coffee dates with a friend when you want to feel cute. Totally loving it for any/all occasions!

Normally I don’t gravitate to shorter, boxier jackets like this. But when I found it for a great price while thrifting a couple years ago, I just knew it would work great with some of my more fitted skirts. So glad I snagged it up! And I’m glad I did because I definitely love the way it compliments this look, and others with similar structure and proportions. That’s the key to boxier/looser items on top: you just need to make sure you’re still creating a nice waistline and/or a slimmer lower half (more fitted skirt, skinny jeans, etc) to balance it out.

The shoes and skirt came from two of my favorite vintage stores, and I can’t continue to say enough good things about this purse company, making gorgeous fair trade items and employing women across the world who desperately need jobs. Next time you’re looking to treat yourself, or find a unique gift for a friend, check them out!
Is this a look you would see yourself in? What ways would you change it up to make it your own? I always love to hear your feedback!
Happy Wednesday, friends!

I’ve seen mostly vintage style from styled and photo shoots I’ve done or been hired for. It’s so nice to see someone genuinely make it their own! Love!
This is simple yet authentic at the same time. Lovely!
