I love this easy, casual look. Perfect layering for Virginia winter days and I even repurposed a cardigan by wearing it backwards to layer under the military jacket. When it comes to being creative with what you have, think outside the box! So many items can be worn more than one way, but we often get stuck in the rut of how it’s “meant” to be worn. But really, it’s a great way to get fresh ideas out of things you already have by taking time to think if it can be used a little unconventionally (such as wearing a dress with a skirt over it and thus using it as a “shirt” instead).

I’ve featured it before, but seriously this Fawn Design diaper bag is the best thing ever. It’s obviously so cute you’d never KNOW it’s a diaper bag, but it’s also super practical (I use the backpack feature alllll the time) and perfect for all of my on-the-go baby needs.

Have you ever worn a shirt backwards or in some other way repurposed an item in a non-traditional use? I’d love to hear your creative ideas for getting the most use out of your favorite items!
Here’s to fun and creative wardrobing!
