There is something so special about documenting a season of life that I now personally understand. Watching a mom and her sweet baby interact, capturing the adventurous and ever-on-the-move phase of an almost one-year-old. My time with Amanda & Faire was so much fun! Llewyn went along and it was a photoshoot-turned-playdate, and truly both of the babes did wonderfully. If you’ve ever wondered if life as a parent can still involve an adorable home and great personal style, then I think this session confirms that. Amanda is an amazing creative and lifestyle blogger herself, and it’s so life-giving to connect with other creatives who are also doing the work-from-home-while-being-a-mom thing.
There are so many favorites from this session, so you’re in for a lot of adorable comin’ atacha! Enjoy. :)
Such an honor to capture this sweet relationship. Thank you to Amanda & Faire for letting me into your home & life! :)
Oh how sweet!! :-) I love this one!
Aw, thank you Lelia!! It was such a fun shoot. <3
Dear Tori Watson,
This is Adriana Bocanegra. I found your blog in internet. I found it wonderful and so inspiring. I am trying to set up my photography business close to Atlanta,GA. So I am a little overwhelmed with it. I really love your work so I decided to ask you if you edit your photos. If you do that, do you use your own presets or actions ? Or you use outsources presets and actions ?
In my case I did my own hand editing but I found it that is time consuming. So I am asking you for advise. Please, feel free to send me any answer. I will appreciate it very much!
Thanks and Best wishes,
Adriana Bocanegra.

Hi Adriana,
Thanks for the kind words! I do edit my own work, and I work off of a preset that I originally purchased from VSCO presets, but have tweaked to my own liking. In the past I have also outsourced some of my editing to a private individual (not a large company) who also worked off of my preset to make sure the work looked cohesive. Both have been great for me, I’m just back to doing all of my own editing since my workload is less now than it used to be. Hope that’s helpful! :)
