Guys, guys, guyyyyyssss. I’m just bursting with excitement to finally share some of these images from my first PROPOSAL ever! But this wasn’t just any random proposal-shooting-gig. If you’ve followed this blog for a while, then you’ve seen Tara & Stephen before. (That shoot was done just a couple months after they started dating! So twitter-pated and still a little giddy with new, nervous love. So cute!) But more than that, I’ve known Tara almost her entire life. And Stephen, for the last several years. When they started dating, I knew it was good. Really good. Marriage-in-the-future kind of good. But you can never fully predict how relationships will go. Over these last couple years it’s been a joy to be part of their relationship as a friend, watch it blossom and how the Lord was leading them. So, you can only imagine my excitement when Stephen told me of his grand proposal plan and asked me to be part of it! Furthermore, I was floored not only by the amount of thought that he put into it all, but by the incredible experience of watching someone I’ve known for so long say “yes!” and enter the most incredible season of life, leading to the most incredible beginning of the most important chapter yet. If these photos don’t make you curious about how he pulled it all off, then I guess you don’t like fun stories. But! Is this ring AMAZING or what?! Stephen custom designed it for Tara, and he simply could NOT have hit it out of the park any more successfully. I have alllll the heart eyes for it!
