Today’s look is a fun one, as it’s the first with Llewyn in a while. And of course a cute baby makes anything better, right? My love for simpler, more minimalist outfits continues to grow and I’m increasingly drawn to black paired with denim. Love the ease and knowing it will always be a great combo. And a little striped baby romper certainly accessorizes it nicely. ;)

This outfit is actually very Mom-friendly in my opinion because the skirt is flattering and comfortable (has a bit of stretch to it) but the cut is nice and practical as it doesn’t fly up in the wind or come up much in the back when bending over (which is a plus when one is chasing a 1-year-old around). Dark colored tops are my preference these days, also as it relates to having food or drink potentially splattered or lovingly rubbed on me from that oh-so-cute little one. So this is a home-run, go-to pick for me and it’s a perk that you know it will always go together (or whatever other solid colored top is clean or available, as in the variation I wore for Llewyn’s birthday).
