Today’s outfit immediately became one of my favorites as soon as I put it on. While I didn’t have a white doily to make the same look as the inspiration photo, it did remind me of the lace top of my black shirt from H&M, so I took that piece and ran with it. I like to call the result “bohemian chic”….or something like that. The photo also inspired me to do a different look with my hair for a post here and there. So, let’s see what you think!

While it’s still pretty curly, this is what I consider having my hair “straightened”. Funny, right? But I like that it’s a smoother look, yet still has volume (since I’m definitely not used to my hair looking flat). Also has a softer, more retro vibe which I love, as well. Definitely fun for a change, now and then! (Done by my lovely hair stylist Randi Dudley, since I’m still working on improving my round brush skills….)
Skirt: Old Navy, $7 (coupon + clearance!) | Shirt: H&M, $10 | Shoes: TJ Maxx, $15 | Belt: Thrifted, $3 | Clutch: Thrifted, $2 | Earrings: Francesca’s, $8 | Ring: Old Navy, $7 | Bracelets: Assorted
This is the perfect early Fall look, in my opinion. Mixing the blacks and browns, but still showing a little pop of color on the toes since it’s not quite time to tuck them away in boots for the rest of the year. What do you think of this look? Does “bohemian chic” sum it up, or would you call it something else?
Happy Wednesday, friends! May your wardrobes be inspired!
Cute! I have that shirt and I’ve been pairing it with maxi skirts too! ;)
I have that skirt! Now I have some new inspiration on how to wear it! I just need a good belt. Love this outfit so much, and your hair!
Love this look!
