Well, baby Llewyn is definitely growing in there! It’s crazy that I’m at 24 weeks already, and only have 16 to go! On the other hand, realizing I still have 16 to go is kind of crazy. You start to wonder how it will feel when you’re REALLY big….hah!
In the picture on the left, it was 70 degrees….in the one on the right, it was like 20. February in Virginia is just full of surprises! But back to the topic, here are a few bullet points on how baby and I are doing:
- Feeling great, overall, and enjoying the ability to workout a few times a week. Got this workout DVD and am really loving it (it’s no joke)!
- Finding it harder to bend over to put on shoes and get off the couch, these days.
- Definitely can’t sleep without a support pillow, anymore.
- Just discovered the unpleasant reality that my prenatal vitamins can STILL make me throw up an entire meal if not taken at the proper time…(totally thought I was over that).
- Feeling Llewyn move around several times a day, now. Love the more physical reminder that he’s in there. :)
All-in-all, things are continuing to go great! Getting ready to begin more intentional reading and preparation for birth, now that tackling the registry is done (aside from adding a random thing here or there). Wish me luck!
Happy Monday, everyone!
That was my favorite work out video when I was pregnant! I actually still do it and still love it now. :-) And your bump totally popped at 24 weeks, wow! LOVE.
Yay Tori! I love following along and I’m so excited for you! You still look fabulous and so stylish :-)
Highly recommend the book “The Birth Partner” by Penny Simkin. She does an excellent job of explaining not only the stages of labor and immediate postpartum period, but also all of the “hospital jargon” that can be confusing for non-medical folks in the delivery room :) Regardless of whether you’re planning a “natural” birth or pursuing other options, every mom I’ve worked with has found it super helpful.
Thanks Fiona! The lady who is teaching the natural birth class we signed up for highly recommends that book, too. So, I just added it to my Amazon basket along with Ina May’s Guide to Childbirth. :)
