I’ve gotten a little behind on my bumpdate posts, and truthfully missed a couple weeks of even GETTING a photo. Turns out keeping up with things the 2nd time around just gets harder – hah! But, I’m so grateful for how smoothly this pregnancy has gone, and that we are on the home stretch, now! Here’s a few more progression shots.
A few Q&A’s:
- How are you feeling? Really great overall, though exhausted off and on, of course. Not sleeping super great, but that’s par for the course at this point.
- Are you craving anything specific? Cottage cheese with applesauce has been my jam these last many weeks. Not something I really ever ate before pregnancy, but something I eat literally daily at this point. Also Twizzlers.
- Any highlights from the last few weeks? Shooting weddings at both 34 weeks and almost 36 weeks that went super well and that I physically recovered from incredibly successfully! I had been worried that I not only might be in pain by the end of the evening, but especially have a hard time the days afterwards. But amazingly, I felt great through the entire day both times and easily recovered. I definitely attribute it to having hired an assistant who carried all my gear for me and made sure I kept drinking water. (So pregnant photographers – definitely make sure you do that!) Another highlight was definitely our magical family/maternity session with Paula Bartosiewicz.
Still insane to me that we just have a few weeks left to go in this journey! Working on getting our final “nesting” things done, as well as the nursery finished, and of course attempting to just prepare myself mentally and emotionally for another labor. But I’m grateful to be feeling well, at peace and excited to meet our sweet girl, soon! :)
Stay tuned in the coming weeks to see the nursery + some favorites for my hospital bag!
