I’ve gotten a bit behind in blogging weddings, lately, but I’m thrilled to be showing off Kenny & Ervina’s GORGEOUS wedding, today! Every bit of the day had special touches from Ervina and her family and friends, and it couldn’t have expressed their personalities more perfectly. These two have such a unique love story (one that involved much long distance and many letters written) and it was so cool how they had their letters sitting on their guestbook table as decor, and the timeline of their relationship written out for everyone to truly be able to share in their love story. And more than just the beautiful details and perfectly done DIY projects, what I loved about working with these two is how very precious and genuine their love is, and how completely they trusted the Lord through their journey. Ervina couldn’t have been glowing more and Kenny couldn’t have had more adoration in his eye when looking at his bride. I hope you’re able to get a glimpse into the true joy of June 8th, as you scroll through this post!
Ervina’s wedding dress was MADE for her by her friend Michelle, and the belt by her sister, Clarita!
They opted to do a First Look which I, of course, always love and it was such a sweet moment.
For wedding party photos we headed to a cool old train station, which always provides for some cool portrait spots!
I caught these girls chatting after the ceremony and couldn’t help but snap a photo of the moment. So cute!
After the ceremony, we headed off to some pretty orchards near Ervina’s home (which was the reception site) to do more bride and groom portraits. I always love when we have extended time for these – in my opinion, they’re the most important photos of the day.
Ervina, you are SO beautiful!
The reception area was just PERFECT. So many lovely, lovely details. I apologize for the amount of photos….but I just wanted to show everything off!
I lovvved the embroidery hoops with lace hanging over the head table. Such a pretty idea!
During the mingle time before the reception officially started they had yogurt parfait, lemonade, and iced coffee stations. The perfect afternoon refreshment for summertime!
A little coloring station for kids. LOVE!
Instead of a cake cutting, Kenny & Ervina had an ice cream bar and as their receiving line Kenny & Ervina served it to EACH of their guests.
It was a truly a perfect day, and I’m so honored that I got to be part of it! :) HAPPY FRIDAY, everyone!

I was at the wedding, and enjoyed reliving it again with these magnificent photos. You captured the love beautifully, especially in the orchard. Kenny and Ervina could both be models, but the real beauty in both of them comes from within. I think you captured it! Well done.

Christ was represented in a million details, loved this, even though I do not know any in this family, I still wished I could have been there! Collecting 350 dishes and the bride and groom serving the ice cream to their guests??? Unforgettable.
